Tom Sizemore (born September 29, 1961) is an American film and television actor.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Sizemore attended Wayne State University and earned a Master's Degree in theater from Temple University in 1986. He subsequently moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. One of his first film roles was in Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July in 1989. A succession of well-received supporting parts followed. His first major leading role was in 1997's The Relic.
Sizemore continued to play leading and character parts in many films, notably Saving Private Ryan, HBO's Witness Protection, Pearl Harbor, and Black Hawk Down.
In 2002, Sizemore starred in the well-reviewed but short-lived television drama series Robbery Homicide Division. It was cancelled mid-way through its first season.
Sizemore, who had long battled drug addiction, was convicted in 2003 of assault and battery against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss.
In 2004, he starred in the movie Paparazzi.

Here's a cool take on a cops and robbers movie: instead of having the bad guys steal high profile goods like gems, gold or money, have them go after rare and valuable comic books, baseball cards and old lunchboxes worth big bucks. That's the premise for THIEVES, a new movie that now has actors Tom Jane (THE PUNISHER) and Tom Sizemore (BLACK HAWK DOWN) attached to star in it.
Jane and Sizemore starred together in the Lawrence Kasdan adaptation of DREAMCATCHER a couple of years ago, which may be how they came to be involved in this new picture. There's also another connection to consider: the screenplay for THIEVES was written by Tom Sizemore's brother, Aaron. No doubt that kind of family connection helps when you're trying to find the right talent to attach to your budding movie screenplay.
The movie also has director John Swanbeck (THE BIG KAHUNA) attached to helm it but it's not set up at a studio (yet.) "
